Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2, 2026. fillable.ca is a product of Four Cents.
Agreement and acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Four Cents ("fillable.ca", "we", "our", or "us"), the operator of fillable.ca. By accessing or using fillable.ca, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province, state, or country to use fillable.ca. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
Description of service
Fillable.ca lets you fill, create, convert, sign, and collect PDF forms in your browser, along with related tools and guided packs. We may change, suspend, or stop any part of the service at any time.
No professional advice
Our form templates and any content on the site are provided for general information only. They are not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on them as such. For important or complex matters, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction. You use any template or content at your own risk.
Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe, on a recurring basis, such as monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- We may change prices. If we do, we will give you notice in advance, and the new price will apply to the next billing period.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your paid access continues to the end of the current billing period, and the subscription does not renew after that.
- Refund policy: except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future charges but does not refund amounts already paid for the current period.
User content
You keep ownership of the files, PDFs, and form data you use with fillable.ca. You grant us a limited license to process your content only as needed to provide the service to you, for example to render, convert, sign, or deliver a form you send. You are responsible for the legality of what you upload and for having the right to use it. You must not upload or process any content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates the rights of others.
Intellectual property
Fillable.ca, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Four Cents or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the service without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law.
Trademarks and non-affiliation
All third-party names, brands, logos, and trademarks that may appear on fillable.ca are the property of their respective owners, and their use does not imply affiliation or endorsement. "PDF" and "Adobe" are trademarks of Adobe Inc. Fillable.ca is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Adobe Inc. or any other third party unless we state so in writing.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any applicable law or infringe the rights of others
- Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the service or its servers
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the service by automated means without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code except as allowed by law
- Upload or transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware

Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE, OR ANY CONVERSION, OCR, OR OTHER OUTPUT, WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR ACCURATE FOR EVERY FILE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL FOUR CENTS OR ITS OWNERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR CAD $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Four Cents, fillable.ca, and its owners, directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to your use of the service, the content you upload or process, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another party.
Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemic, government action, labor disputes, or power or internet failures.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved as described below.
Dispute resolution
Before starting any formal proceeding, the parties agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other and negotiating in good faith for at least 30 days. Any dispute that is not resolved will be handled on an individual basis. To the extent permitted by law, you and Four Cents waive any right to bring or take part in a class action or representative proceeding.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms or if we need to protect the service, our users, or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
General
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Four Cents about the subject matter here. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent, and we may assign them without restriction. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date above and post the new version on this page. Your continued use of the service after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
